• See if the port is bent. Ports on televisions are not one solid piece, they are usually rings with a space in there somewhere so if that is the case take a flathead screwdriver and gently widen the slot. Try a different cable also, they are not all created equal.

• I didn't have any issues with HDMI ports. Same cord fit in all HDMI ports on tv
