“I can't get the TV to change inputs to watch a DVD or VCR video. It worked for about 10 months. I put new batteries in the remote and I still can't change the input. I push the input button at the bottom of the TV and it only comes up to TV .”

I've had this problem too. I found that you have to have the power on with the dvd player FIRST, then switch the "imput" selection. Then power on dvd must be off before changing tv imput back to "tv." Another hint, it's a better connection to use an HDMI cable between the dvd player & the tv. Then you're just changing the HDMI Input source.
