YES , your television mount should have multiple mounting holes , to fasten it to any TV. If you are purchasing a LARGER TV , you must first make sure your mount can accept the size , and weight of the new larger one. The Insignia televisions mounting points may be in a different area on the rear of the television. Before removing the existing mount , measure from the top of the TV , to the part of the mount that "hangs" it to the part that is fastened to the wall. Then ,locate the mounting holes on the Insignia TV , and see which holes in your mount match up. Use the new fasteners that come with the Insignia TV , and remember to NOT overtighten them. Now replace the new Insignia TV on your wall....
