Just received this TV today, after deciding to upgrade from my LG 40 inch plasma that was 10 years old. The picture quality is amazing. I have it hooked up to the sound bar 2.0 that it recommended to buy with. The only thing I wish it had was a off timer other then the 60 mins and so on like my LG has, as I sleep with my TV on and would always have it set to turn off at 7 am. I was not expecting the legs to be so long as this is my first tv with legs my other tvs all have the platform instead of legs which makes it hard to find something to put the TV on but I made it work. Also Bluetooth would of been a plus. If you are looking for a cheap tv without spending a arm and a leg with great picture quality then this is for you. Will update this review after having it for 6 months to see how it has held up.

So, I have never bought myself a TV before. I wasn't even looking into buying a TV. I was buying my fiancee a laptop and happened to see this TV advertised. Once I saw the price, I had to look. Well, this was a bargain price, $200 for 50"! I love myself a bargain. I did not realize how BIG it was going to be. So, I am very happy with the size. I am also not a tech junky, so I don't seek the best of the best. But, for me, the picture is absolutely beautiful. The biggest difference I noticed was the sound, the sound has that nice lower bass-like tone, IDK, it reminds me of a movie theater. I'm torn on giving the quality a 4 or a 5. Because I know the "most advanced" TVs have a better HD quality. But the thing is, I don't like when I watch a TV and the people look unrealistic. It has that weird picture that is almost too life-like. SO I will give it a 5 because it is absolutely perfect for me.

Clear, vivid color, light weight and thin which wonderful if you installing on the wall. The price was amazing for what you get!! I bought online and was ready in less than 30 minutes for pickup which was also quick and easy!! Highly recommended and just in case something happens they offer insurance that was extremely reasonable. Great Buy!!

I absolutely love my tv. It was easy to set up and the picture shows great. The volume is a little low but other than that im happy. Delivery was in 2 days.

Made this purchase as it was the right price plus, I had some gift cards. We built an outdoor Tiki Bar and the TV we had in there was only 39 inches- but this thing is perfect! Great color and sound with or without soundbar is great!

Picture quality very good. It has all the features the average TV viewer needs. I repaired TVs for over 40 years, so I feel I am more then qualified to voice my opinions on who makes which tv's, and the fact that several different brands are made by the same manufacturer, so why pay more for certain brands when the exact same tv is on the market for less money with just a different name.

I bought this tv at my nearby BB( 71st and 169) on 11/27 before the masses converged. I didn't have big budget to operate with, but wanted a larger screen....I had an Insignia( 43") already, and had no problems w/ it at all! Decided to stay w/ the Insignia brand( 50"). Bought for $188.00/ $208.00 with tax. Cheaper than the Black Friday "deals". Easy set up, awesome picture! Love it :)

This is the third Insignia TV I have purchased and all still work just fine. The TV arrived on time and was very easy to set up. Picture quality is great as expected and the price was good.

Big tv, small price. So glad I choose this tv. I wanted something bigger for my bedroom. I pretty much just stream and watch news. It was easy to attach my fire stick to it and also my Blu-ray, it still has the ability to attach other devices if I wanted. It has great picture quality, and great sound. It's well built, the quality is nice. I didn't want to spend a lot on a good TV and the Insignia didn't disappoint. I bought a 43-in some time ago for my daughter, so I already knew it was a good TV... was just waiting for my 11 y/o tv to finally blow up before I bought this one, lol.

I'M IMPRESSED,IT'S PRICE IS WHAT DREW MY ATTENTION BUT THE QUALITY FOR THE PRICE IT'S OUTSTANDING. SOME PEOPLE GIVE HARSH REVIEWS WHEN THEY GET WHAT THEY PAID FOR. THIS EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS PRICE POINT. I ADDED MY ROKU TO MAKE IT LIKE A SMART T.V. AT NEARLY HALF THE PRICE OF THE EQUIVALENT SIZED SMART T.V. I ALSO APPRECIATE THE FAIRLY SPEEDY SHIPPING TIME EVEN THOUGH COVID-19 SLOWED EVERYTHING DOWN A BIT,IT'S NOT THE ESSENTIAL WORKERS FAULT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS A BROKEN BOX BUT IT WAS SO WELL PROTECTED BY THE PACKAGING,IT WAS A NON ISSUE.

The picture is very good quality and it was easy to install myself ! I’m very happy with the value for money ! I deffently feel like I got a bargain

This is a great bargain TV. I use it for PowerPoint presentations. Sound is great and very lightweight.

Great TV, awesome color and picture. Great price! I recommend this tv for those that are on a budget.

For the most part I like the TV. The picture is awesome and it has 3 HDMI ports. However the thing talks it says “power on” “HDMI 1” and so on it is very annoying. That part is loud! The volume for a movie or a show is not! Also annoying. Our washer and dryer can get loud and I can’t the the volume of this ginormous TV to get louder than the washer. Anyway that’s why I give it a 3 star rating. The speakers could be better.

Purchased for my sons bedroom due to past experiences with Insignia HDTV's. Great price, picture, performance, and remote control. Why pay ridiculous amounts of money when best buy has such a premium quality brand. 100% happy...

It is a good tv for the price. The only complaint is the TV volume isn’t too high. Its in my bedroom so I don’t need it to be that loud. I heard complaints about the tv speaking when raising the volume and changing input. That can be easily turned off through the options menu.

Replaced a 3-year-old 50 inch Sharp after the video went out. This is my 2nd Insignia (I still have the 32 inch I purchased in '09). Great product.

I'm really enjoying my TV. This was my first time trying this brand and I have been pleasantly surprised. Great TV Great Price!
