“I just signed up for Spectrum choice streaming service. Was told I need Roku Apple+ or a Samsung TV to use this service. Does anyone with this tv have spectrum choice and use the apple+? Or will I need to download Roku? Im new to smart TVs and streaming.”

Roku isn't a download, but rather a platform to enable streaming. It can be purchased already put into the TV, as with a couple of brands (TCL and Vizio, I think), or with a plug in device, as you would find with the Apple+ (not sure if there is an Apple+ built in set at this time). It really is going to depend on which interface you want to use. I don't have the Spectrum service, but we've been streaming for about 8 months, now. It really is cheaper than cable and offers a greater flexibility.

You can connect a Roku device or an Apple TV box to the HDMI input on this TV.
