“I plan to play videos from the USB port. The manual only states that it reads jpeg images. Can videos be played off a USB flash drive? And if so, what video formats are compatible? Thanks in Advance.”

• Since I didn't receive a response, I am going to assume this TV cannot play video files from a USB flash drive. I will be returning this back to BestBuy.

• You can download the VLC for Fire TV app to play videos from USB. The VLC app supports the following formats: MKV, MP4, AVI, MOV, Ogg, FLAC, TS, M2TS, Wv and AAC.
