“Is it possible to disable Alexa? I don't own other Amazon devices and don't want the Alexa functionality. If it's not possible to disable, I'd would welcome recommendations for alternate smart TVs for streaming that's in the comparable price range.”

Alexa is only activated when you press the Mic button on the remote.
