Hello Stace! Thank you for your question. Since this is a Fire TV, an Amazon account is typically required during setup to access Fire TV features, download apps, and use streaming services. If you do not already have an Amazon account, you can create one during the setup process. Once signed in, you'll be able to complete the TV setup and enjoy all of its smart features.
