How do I connect my sound system to this tv? I tried using the optical cable. I also tried using headphones and no signal came through. I tried turning off the TV speakers, still no luck. null

Use the hdmi port labeled arc on both the tv and the sound system.

If changing audio to arc or optical the corresponding setting also has to be set in the televisions sound settings.

(arc is recommended so sound and power can be controlled through just one remote)
