Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello! Thank you for your question. During the initial setup, the TV is designed to guide you through the Fire TV setup process. Once setup is complete, you can have the TV open directly to your cable box input instead of the Fire TV home screen by going to Settings > Display & Sounds > Power Controls > Power On, then selecting Last Input. With this setting enabled, the TV will return to the cable input that was being used when the TV was last turned off.
