The AC cuts off when it reaches the desired temperature. However, the fan kicks in and stays on just to circulate the air.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit I have does not shut off. However, it is in an upstairs bedroom where the temps get as high as 90 during the day. I don't turn it on until I get home in the evening. There was no instruction manual included so auto-shut off may be a feature I haven't experienced with my circumstances. (The link provided in the setup instructions to download the instruction manual didn't work and I haven't taken the time to call the 800 number to have them send one.)
