IF your cable doesnt have the YELLOW RCA End, then No. The cable MUST have Red, White AND Yellow if you want True Stereo sound. Now you COULD designate either the Red or White for Video... But, youll have to run it in Mono and you wont have the right Video Quality.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your replies. Either the red or white RCA plug can go into the Yellow (video out) slot on the back of my receiver. Unfortunately the 3.5 MM plug end will not work. I found out the my TV - a 2019 Sony XBR needs a special 3.5 MM plug - something about the "ground" part of the 3.5 MM is in the wrong place for Sony XBR input jacks.
