Balanced cables, such as those with XLR or TRS connectors on both ends, are designed to reduce noise and interference, especially over long distances.

• A:Answer No, is the short answer. The long answer is the conversion is done inside you receiver and the subwoofer will have an rca jack input and not a stereo headphone jack input. You would need multiple other adapters to make it work and with each adapter you would weaken the signal going into the subwoofer. You’ll need two rca jacks that combine to one. • A:Answer IF your cable doesnt have the YELLOW RCA End, then No. The cable MUST have Red, White AND Yellow if you want True Stereo sound. Now you COULD designate either the Red or White for Video... But, youll have to run it in Mono and you wont have the right Video Quality.
