what a cable is rated for and what it can provide are two different things companies often list lower specs to play it safe runs fine at dp 1.4 4k 165hz

The model number differs from the the one that is actually posted. Due to this it could be the reason. There is a version that does have a max version of 21.6 GB and it has a completely different model number and looking completely different.
