“I am not getting any results. I plugged the lightning port into the back of the Apple thunderbolt monitor and the hdmi connection into the Mac mini. No picture!! Whats wrong?”

This cable does not work with devices that have a Lightning port. This cable works for computers that have a Mini DisplayPort and monitors that have an HDMI input.
