“Portable power option? We own this DVD player and must say that its been great, but we are looking for an accessory battery pack (for a long trip where a wall or car outlet isn't accessible) that will allow us to charge the internal battery. Is there such an item? Secondly, the cord will be another issue, any solutions?”

Unfortunately we do not offer such a product but Best Buy may. I would recommend bringing the DVD player into Best Buy so they can look at it and help determine if they sell a device that will accomplish this.
