Yes, the wood will not absorb any water.

Yes, the desk is water-proof. I have the black desk and I've left cups of water on the desk and also spilled orange juice on it. All good no damage.

I’m extremely confused by the context of the question for a desk. But if you’re going to leave the desk in some form of standing water, there will be damage. The wood is coated in a paint and clear coat so there is water resistance but leaving extended exposure to moisture will most likely cause bubbling/swelling.
