What are the advantages of this charger as opposed to the one that comes with the Apple Watch Series 3? null

The only advantage I see is that I’m able to have a second charger I can take wherever I go as I have my original charger threaded through a stand on my desk at home. This one works just as well.

The original Apple charger is 1 meter (3') long. This cable is 4' long.

No advantage that I can think of. I just needed a charger for another location. Works as well as the Apple unit. Does not come with a USB transformer.

I don't think there's an advantage unless you're needing to replace the OEM charger or you need an extra, as this one costs less.

If you're comparing apples to Apple's (pun intended), the biggest difference is going to be the length of the cord. Apple gives you 3 feet and Insignia gives you 6 feet. If you are in the market to buy a replacement and are comparing Apple to Insignia, then price will also come into play. Quality is comparable, but Insignia is less expensive, with a longer cord. The end result is the same with both products ... a charged watch.
