- Answer Yes, I was listening to the radio and it simply quit playing. I plugged it into a different outlet and it started working. The first outlet was functioning properly ( I tested it).

QuestionIs the tuner digital? I don't mean that the display shows the station, I mean is the tuner itself digital? Not one of those aluminum tuners that are adjusted by a string on a spool.

QuestionCan it skip from song 1 to song 20 by pushing skip button at once i.e. from song 1 to song 20 or do you have to play a song a bit each time before skipping to next song? CD would just freezes, no sound when trying to skip more than the next song.

QuestionHow can I obtain a replacement AC cord?I lost the AC cord, and standard sized cords with a C7 coupler (polarized and non-polarized) will not fit due to the pin spacing being closer together on the boombox. Would Insignia be able to offer a replacement?

- Answer It would not play the MP3 files on a CD-R that burned, despite that same disc playing on another bookshelf system and my $50 car stereo. It appears this item might play CD-Rs but only if that disc is burned as a true audio CD.
