A:AnswerIt would not play the MP3 files on a CD-R that burned, despite that same disc playing on another bookshelf system and my $50 car stereo. It appears this item might play CD-Rs but only if that disc is burned as a true audio CD.
A:AnswerHi Rick.
Thank you for trusting us, knowing that we will answer your question accurately. The Red LED light on the boombox is the "I'm receiving power" indicator. It turns ON if the unit is plugged to a power outlet or if batteries are providing juice to the unit. To turn this light OFF, unplug it or remove the batteries. We are always here to help you and thanks for being part of our Insignia family.

A:AnswerIn response to the answer I received recently to my question above, as I stated initially, the CDs we use for fitness DO NOT have a natural pause between tunes. They are designed to not have that awkward pause because that does not suit the flow of a workout. For some reason, however, this machine is building in its own pause. This does NOT happen with other stereos when using these CDs so there is something odd about the settings or about the machine. Please advise.
