No this is a display port for a computer monitor. TV's do not come with a display port. You need a hdmi switcher, this will allow you to add HDMI ports to your TV. Also seeing that you are trying to connect a sound bar is one of your current HDMI ports ARC capable? It will say it next to the HDMI port in (). If not you will not get the full benefits of a sound bar. If you do plug the sound bar in that port and plug the HDMI switch in the other to add HDMI ports. If you do not have ARC next to the HDMI port then you may have to upgrade the TV. Hope this helps
