If studs don't center the unit you will have to reinforced or build an extension between studs to support it. That will allow to be able to center it.

I used this mount for a similar sized Samsung and it worked perfectly! If you are able to center the mount to the wall regardless of studs, that is even better! (Mine was slightly off and still worked great.)
