Does this work for 85” Sony TV? null

You probably could still use it if it is securely placed on the wall. The next size up is more expensive $100-$150 for the 85”-100” tv brackets so unless you want to pay that amount and pay using a credit card and pay so much each month then I’d say buy the higher price bracket.
