• As close as 1” away from wall. Not much. I like it specially ‘cause our tv is curvy and I thought it’d be so far away from wall... it’s perfect

• The overall thickness of the mount is probably 3/4" . The bottom of your TV will rest against the wall, itself. There are some spacer brackets if you need them. Your TV should sit completely vertically when you're done. (At least as vertically as the wall is)
