“I have a new Samsung 55" (not curved). I have a wall with a brick fireplace that is never used and regular wall board on studs. I prefer it on the brick, but do not know if this has more problems than wallboard. Will have professional installation.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes with concrete anchors for the lags. If you put some concrete epoxy in the hole you drill for the anchors, you will have about triple the support strength required, Tha lags are big
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These kinds of things can be mounted on brick but it degrades the bricks and lowers your home value in the long run. The holes will have to be drilled with a special bit and it will have to go deep enough to add an anchor behind the frame. I'd listen to what an experienced professional installer would say, but personally, I want that thing mounted on the studs.
