I don't think this particular unit is able to connect to any part of a vehicle. It is a bare bones model.

If you have an aux input and a male-male mini plug cable it should work by using the headphone output of the cd player to the aux input of your car music system. You could power the cd player with batteries or with a 12v dc/ac converter that you plug an available 12v outlet.

This is not designed for use in a motor vehicle so I would not recommend using that way.
