A bit more than 2 millimeters in diameter. X pi = about 6.3 mm circumference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found, over the years, that the thinner the wiring on these type of devices, the less overall reliable these headsets are. You get what you pay for. When you pay $20 or so for these headsets, you know that they are throwaway, and you should always have a spare; I do. By comparison, I am a private pilot using a $1000 Bose headset. It is built to take the various intensity of use and give the required level of reliability. It doesn't make you feel any better if the headset malfunctions when you are in the middle of an important phone call than it does if you miss an important radio call from Air Traffic Control. The same thing goes for Bluetooth units, You can't expect to get the reliability from a $10 unit bought at a truck stop as I get from a $135 Bluetooth bought from Plantronics for my cellphone. I spent years as a Professional in the design, development and use of high grade communications systems used in the military and rugged ham radio systems, where reliability is key.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cord is thin, something like a cell phone charging cable. I have had similar in the past and never had an issue with them. By the way, this is a great headset, especially for the price. I have own more expensive headsets, that didn't work any better.
