Not likely. to get a 144Hz display rate, you would need Dual-Link DVI, Display Port (not mini DisplayPort) or the very common HDMI 1.4 or higher cable. Most of all, your display rate will depend on your monitor. Many are limited to a max of 120Hz over HDMI 1.4, so unless your monitor uses some sort of custom settings or timing, you'll want to stick with HDMI 2.0 or even better, HDMI 2.1 for maximum capability. HDMI 2.1 is backward compatible with all other previous HDMI versions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is really difficult to understand what you are actually asking. If anyone else looks at this, perhaps my answer will be of help. If I understand correctly, you are asking if the ps4 will display at 144hz on a 144hz monitor using the adapter. The answer is no. The PS4 is locked at 60 fps, meaning that the 144hz monitor will only display as if it was at 60hz. That being said, the monitor can still be used. You just won't see the benefit of it being 144hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are not using the PS4 PRO, the output is 60hz, it is a combination of console and monitor, if the console doesn't output more than 60hz, the monitor won't display it. Also keep in mind that "yes", conectors and converters downgrade the performance. Even on a PC, you would need a direct dp to dp port to be able to get 144hz.
