• All batteries eventually stop taking a charge. Best option is to purchase a new kit.

• All batteries wear out in time, and what you describe sounds like it could be very possible you have a bad battery. However it could be the controller is not passing the charge properly. Maybe, buy a charging station with an extra battery of the same type, and put it on it. If it charges there you know the battery is good. If not, you have a replacement, and maybe swap the other if its in warranty.
