• Yes, this CD player did have a remote. I have purchased three of these and only the last one did NOT have a remote. ???? I found that by stopping the player with the remote that it would start an MP3 CD where I left off. I guess I'll try to find a remote at Best Buy to purchase separately.

• When I bought mine in July, it came with a remote. Maybe you should exchange it.

• The remote is an inline remote attached to the headphone cable.

• As far as I'm aware, this has never had a remote. I checked and we have no documentation on a remote anywhere.
