• I make 3 lbs of ice in 3 1/2 hours. I store in in a 1 gallon ziplock freezer bag it is perfect.

• I don't really understand the question, it needs to be more specific as to what he plans to use it for. I have not been happy with the amount of ice it makes and the size of the ice.
