“What makes the machine stop making ice ? Only had since May of 2020 this year”

If the red light is on, it need to be reset. There’s zero info in the manual regarding how to reset it, but I Googled and watched a few videos and found that if you unplug it, then plug it back it, stick your hand and move the gate toward you until it clicks. Then hold the power button down for about 10 seconds and that should get it going again. You may have to repeat this process 2-3 times before it starts up again, but it worked on mine.

Stop using it because I would hate to have this happen to you. Best at home depot or lowes where you can get way better service then sorry we can't help because they already have your money
