Adequate. Remember this is a very inexpensive speaker.

Not very good on base songs. I tried Katy Perry - Roar which has a heavy but clear base line throughout the song and this speaker does not produce a clear base sound. It gets rather distorted sounding when you crank up that kind of song, but we are, after all, talking about a couple of 1 inch speakers in there, so I wasn't expecting to rattle any windows.

The bass is great, delivers great lows for the price. Big magnet inside. Not a cheap speaker. Consider the price point and this is the best out there hands down. RECCOMENDED

It's good. It doesn't hit you like a 10" subwoofer, but it's impressive for such a small unit.

Bass is weak. I use this speaker on my desk at the office where I will not be cranking it up.
