When you plug your device into it and it does not start charging, press the status button on the battery pack and the charging will begin.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does not sound right. Maybe you got a faulty charger. When I first charge my battery charger, I got three steady blue lights and one blinking light. After maybe about six hours, all four lights were steady. The charger was ready to charge with no problem.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try pressing the button about 1/2 hour after you unplug it; that should show how many bars of charge it has. Some seem to get bad units, so yours may be defective; mine has worked fine from the start. Be sure to press the on button after you plug it into your phone.
