A:Answer We have found the dormant battery charge to be excellent in our case. I always have ours charged and ready to go in case we need it. Sometimes it has sat dormant for close to a week, and it was still fully charged when we needed it. There is a button you can click on it to show you how charged it is before using it, and ours always shows as fully charged after sitting dormant. And, we have always gotten the full charge out of it when using afterwards. Also, we noticed that if you are charging an item and that items reaches its full charge, the battery pack will power off. It's nice, because then you aren't wasting any power that's left on the pack. I highly recommend this item. It's a great backup, and a full charge on this is capable of recharging several items...phones, tablets, etc
