Try using them again with the same HDMI cord and TV. If they work, then there's a problem with this blu-ray player. But there's a good chance that the HDMI cord has stopped working, which has happened to me a couple of times, and can be fixed by using a spare HDMI cable.

Power-cycle your TV and Blu-ray player by turning them off and unplugging them for at least one hour. Try connecting the player to a different HDMI port on the TV, and try connecting the player by composite cables. If none of these are successful, try connecting the player to a different TV. If it works, then the Toshiba TV is at fault. If it doesn't, your player may require repairs. Service for the player can be obtained by carrying it in to the place of purchase along with your original receipt. I hope this helps.
