I did everything Insignia said to do and it still does NOT work. Bought a similar one off of Amazon for a LOT less money and it is working great.

Here are some steps you can try to get it working with your TV again: First, check the batteries by replacing them with new ones and ensuring they are inserted correctly. Next, power cycle both the remote and the TV by removing the batteries from the remote, unplugging the TV from the power outlet for about 60 seconds, and then plugging the TV back in and reinserting the batteries. To re-pair the remote, make sure your TV is on and not in standby mode. Hold down the red 'A' and blue 'D' buttons on the remote until the power button LED blinks twice, then point the remote towards the TV and press and hold the power button, releasing it as soon as the TV turns off. If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to reset the remote following the instructions in the user manual. If the problem persists, you can take advantage of Best Buy's return and exchange policy, which offers a 15-day return period for most products. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!
