I wrote the question and ordered the headphones without waiting for answer. Yes, the headphones do come with both a power cord AND about 4-ft. of audio cable with both red and white jacks for stereo input from the television. I don't know why someone would say there is no tv cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not come with optical audio cable, so if your TV only has that output, or you prefer that form of connection, you must provide the cable. My TV does not have the older RCA output terminals. By the way, if you also have a sound bar or other supplemental speakers, you will need to buy an optical cable splitter, if you are using the optical cable input. Insignia was no help in tracking this down. I found out the hard way that you can not use optical input (to the base) and RCA output to other speakers.
