“I can get the headphones to work but can’t figure out to switch from using headphones to listening to the tv normally. The only way I can do it is to pull the audio cord out of the tv audio port”

• I had the same problem, the TV speakers were disabled when I plugged something into the headphone jack. I solved it by buying an optical audio cable. (My TV has optical audio output) Now I can listen to TV speakers or headphones or both. Obviously, this solution will only work if you TV has optical audio output.
