Is this compatible with the batteries from the Xbox one s version of this charger? They look very similar and I still have 4 of those older batteries. null

I think the answer is yes. I had comparable insignia dock for Xbox one X and it uses the exact same batteries.

I've got a charger (and 2 batteries) for the Xbox One X, and neither charger seems to "like" the other batteries. My controller doesn't care though! I'd thought to leave this charger in the box and use my older one to charge all the batteries. However, while I used my One X charger and got the Charged/White lights for these Series X batteries, neither one lasted more than a minute or so when I put them in my controller. Again, despite Supposedly being fully charged. So now I have both chargers out, and only use them for the batteries that came with them. A little inconvenient, but at least I've got extra batteries! Long story short, the batteries ARE compatible with your One S CONTROLLER, but in MY case at least, the Chargers don't work well with the other Batteries.

I have a Xbox x and the battery charger for that and those batteries work on this
