“Can this be assembled without the back panel, or just using the bottom half of the panel, leaving the top open? I have a receiver that is 15" deep and will need 3" for cabling, and a old 5 disk DVD carasol that is 17" deep and needs 2'" for cabling.”

Please try again later.Yes, it is a thin panel and you could cut out parts you don't need or leave off, though I would remove areas that you need open to increase strength against possible racking pllus each side has a opening at bottom for cables that is easy to use not small holes in mid pane and shelve are NOT full depth
