Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you may have to drill holes in stand, to screw it down, but it's quite stable and most likely not necessary to screw it down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It cannot be screwed down, but it is fairly heavy. We have a 55 inch TV on it raised to about 6 inches and it is solid. Swivels very smoothly. The base is deliberately wider in the front so the weight of the TV rests on the back making in well balanced, so TV will not tip over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The base of the stand does not have option to be bolted down to a table or tv stand or entertainment center. But, it doesn't need to be. The base is flat and the stand is itself is heavy enough to keep it in place and wont fall. I easily put it all together myself on my living room floor with a small level and phillips screw driver. There's 2 brackets that screw to the back of tv on top and bottom horizontal. There's several different size screws for the brackets. You need to test different sizes to find the ones that fit the holes on your tv. You need the level to make sure the brackets are lining up with the holes on the back of the tv. There's specific screws that attach the poles together and the pole to the base. It shows in the instructions which screws to use. I suggest after getting the stand together to sit on the piece of furniture you're going to sit the tv on and adjust to the height you want it. Then take it down to the floor and attach the tv. Then get someone to help lift the stand with tv attached onto the piece of furniture you're sitting it on. That's the only part i needed help with. I suggest doing this way because I pre adjusted the height, sat the tv on the center and it hit the ceiling. So I had to take it down and readjust and re attach the tv. I'm loving it. I bought after it was suggested by a best buy employee because the legs of the tv became stressed and cracked and broke off and i couldn't find any place that just had replacement legs not even the manufacturer of the tv.
