Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should work. Without knowing what kind of computer I can’t be definative. It’s just a pinout cross connect so I doubt speed would matter. I’d be more concerned about the computer itself. If the Ethernet connector was fried, there is a fair chance the rest of the computer is living on the edge. Imagine using a damaged or cracked 1x6 board as a shelf. You can put small things on it; but as soon as you load more weight on it, it will break. The same thing with circuit traces and the super compact chips. Good luck. Dan J.
