Q: QuestionI have a windows 10 laptop that doesn't have a CD driver. If I buy this, will the software download automatically or not?

• A:Answer The CD contains the drivers for the adapter, but on Windows 10, all the necessary drivers are built-in already. All you need to do is plug into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port and connect the Ethernet cable, then Windows will automatically switch to a wired internet connection. You don’t need the CD for anything on Windows 10.

• A:Answer I have no idea. Fortunately I had a separate CD driver that I could plug into a USB port on my laptop. It was frustrating that Best Buy would sell a product that was also out of date as there was no mention of Windows 10 as an acceptable platform.
