Does this work for MacBook Airs? null

I can't say for sure about the MacBook Air, but it works with an early 2016 MacBook Pro. I had to download a driver.

NO! NO NO NO NO! The other answers that said "yes" are a few years old and no longer apply. This adapter may have worked with older operating systems, but not with newer ones. After installing the drivers and rebooting, it didn't work so I called Insignia Customer Service and the agent confirmed that it won't work with OS Mojave or High Sierra. Grrr.

Yes! It works for all Macbook Air all models. The only downside to this product is that their website does not offer an online driver download, and who has a cd driver on their computer these days? I was on the phone with support and she gave me instructions. The name of the driver you need to install for this adapter is called "AX88772B". You can find this on axis.com.tw > Support > Drivers> "SuperSpeed USB-to-LAN ICs" > USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet> AX88772B. This will take you to the download page where you will then need to select your model. Hope this helps, I searched everywhere and could not find this lol.

The Insignia drivers didn't work. The person who answered above with "axis" in the web address was close, but it's actually "asix" instead (must have been an autocorrect thing!). Here's the updated web address: https://www.asix.com.tw/en/support/download You can then go to Software and Tools -> Drivers ->USB Ethernet IC ->AX88772B -> Select the Mac option. Hope this helps. Worked amazing for me and wouldn't have done it unless the other answer was up there and I Googled. Was worried about it not being branded, but this is the company that manufacturers the device of Insignia and this is referenced on many tech help boards. Good luck.

Yes, That's what I use it for. You have to download the software from Insignia. Their tech support will help if needed. Works great on my Macbook air.

Yes it works with all laptops that have a tab port.

It has drivers (.dmg) for a mac. Haven't tried it. W7 x64 didn't work so I wouldn't bet on it. I would get Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet or Mini-DisplayPort to Ethernet adapter instead. Same price.

Provided that Apple has a generic driver to run it, this should work just fine.
