• This adapter is compatible with most Windows 10 and Mac 10.4+ computers (not compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur).

• This cable would work well. Both our desktop and printer are HP, and we have used cable like this to connect them long enough to update the drivers. Hope that this helps.
