No... I just bought this to plug into my iPhone 6 because a representative told me it would work..I talked to him on chat. That rep didn’t know what he was talking about because I wanted to transfer my pic off my iPhone 6 onto a usb flash drive. Well guess what? (It wont even fit into my iPhone.) the smaller end will not plug into my iPhone 6....so I guess you won’t be able to do what you want to either! The thing wasn’t even on sale when I bought it, paid full price for it...money down the drain..

You need a lightning cable, you are trying to tether your phone. This would not work. You can enable wifi tether, but this usually requires a monthly fee from your cellphone carrier.

No this is a usb type c cable to usb-a female. It will not work for what you are asking.
