• This is an adapter for the new USB type C port. It will allow you to connect older USB devices to the new port that comes on a lot of newer computers.

• Plug the USB C into your phone, and then plug a flash drive in the USB A. Now you can transfer files directly.

• I use it to connect a full size wireless keyboard/ mouse combination or just a wireless mouse, also works with a plug in mouse. You could use the same setup with your PC or laptop and tablet- needs to be compatible with operating system i.e. Windows 10.

• If you have a laptop with a USB C port and you have USB devices you want to connect to your laptop. USB C is not physically compatible with USB A (usual connector)

• You can use it to convert a regular micro-usb cable to a c-type cable you can only use these to transfer information to and from the phone.
