• I use it to control my 28" samsung smart in my home gym. The keyboard is slow to respond in some instances, the on-screen keyboard pops up first and then goes away once you begin typing. But it will get the job done, and the mouse does fine.

• Sorry to say I have no answer to your question directly. But I can say if your Samsung TV is able to take commands from any other keyboard it should be able to from this one just the same. I've been meaning to try connecting a keyboard and mouse to my tv one day, but always seem to forget this idea when I have time to do it.

• it works great on my Samsung hd tv. I don't think the resolution of the tv has any impact on functionality.
