“I heard nightmares about after market installation of remote starters like main wiring harness being cut into or damaged. I’m afraid to get over installed because if this. I don’t want our cars wiring harnesses messed up to install it.”

I've had two remote starters installed at Best Buy. No horror stories and better remote starter than the dealer could offer me. Maybe if you know someone knowledgeable about cars they can look at your car before and after installation and take pictures. You shouldn't have to do this but if you're concerned and want a nice remote starter that could be a solution.
